Organ and violin

Luca Akaeda Santesson was born in Milan, Italy, in 2001, of Swedish-Japanese parents and singers. Luca began his musical studies in 2009 in Jean-François Hatton's organ class. He then continued his organ studies under Lionel Avot and Yves Lafargues at the CRR de Lyon from 2013 to 2019, obtaining his DEM in organ in 2018.
In 2019, he was admitted to the CNSMD de Lyon in the organ class of François Espinasse and Liesbeth Schlumberger, where he has been perfecting his skills ever since.
In parallel with his organ studies, Luca has a keen interest in both contemporary, electronic music and early music, a field in which he has studied harpsichord for several years.
With his many origins, he has also had the opportunity to play in various countries, mainly Japan, and to attend masterclasses given by foreign organists such as Hans-Ola Ericsson and Kimberly Marshall.
